Today the 2022 First Robotics Competition game was announced. Members of 662 brainstormed robot goals and ideas. The general agreement of this meeting was to focus on the high goal and low rungs. However in the following leadership meeting that decision was overturned in preference of high rungs and low goals. This decision was made after considering several factors including penalties, game rules, reputation points, and robot reliability. In the following weeks, departments, especially Drive Train/Manipulator, will focus on prototyping robot designs. Other departments will likely complete training in their respective departments so that they are ready to work on this year's robot.
